Pier Fishing in Fort Myers Beach, Florida

Maybe the idea of spending hours on a fishing boat rocking in the sea makes you a little queasy. Maybe the idea of committing to the charter boat schedule won’t work with your schedule. There’s an easy way to get in your sea-fishing fix and it’s less than a mile away from Beach Delight Vacation Rental home.
Rudy’s Treasure Chest on Fort Myers Beach has fishing poles, bait and your fishing license ready for you. Walk the beach, take the tram, ride your bike. You’ll be at the Fort Myers Beach Pier in no time.

Rudy’s is open every day at 9am. Go when it fits your schedule.

There are some rules you’ll need to follow. Basically, they only ask that you practice good sportsmanship. I have no problem with the first rule – No Shark Fishing!

When you’re ready to leave, turn in your equipment and head off the Pier to Times Square. Reward your efforts by picking up your favorite ice cream or soft-serve to enjoy on your stroll back to Beach Delight.
