You can get to Pierside Grill and Famous Blowfish Bar from the beach or from Times Square in Fort Myers Beach, Florida. The name gives it away. You’ll be dining with a great view of the fishing pier. Plus you can watch all the beach activity.

Andy and I’ve dined many times at the Pierside Grill, but always outside under the umbrellas. They also have an indoor dining area that probably gets more use in the heat of summer when air-conditioned dining is preferred.

My favorite choice when dining out usually involves seafood and usually blackened. The Pierside Grill’s Blackened Shirmp and Fish Platter meal did not disappoint.
